Default Neither Rain Nor Sleet~~Oh, wait a minute!

Forget that. USPS did not attempt to deliver to my house yesterday due to the 12" of total snow we got in 24 hours starting at 7 AM.

And UPS? And I also had a package out for delvery yesterday with them too and they didn't make the grade either.
First time I have seen this posted on their website~~

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ, US 12/30/20104:25 A.M.OUT FOR DELIVERY
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ, US 12/29/20106:24 P.M.EMERGENCY CONDITIONS BEYOND UPS' CONTROL

And we are not located on a hill of any kind either.

I certainly would not have thought that this little bit of snow would stop USPS anyway. I guess their delivery trucks just are not prepared for this much snow.
But such is life. I am betting on no mail today either.
I see that garbage collection that was supposed to pick up Thursday and Friday today will not happen either.
They are saying they will get it Friday but there will not be any less snow around then either.

If you really need your mail you could probably go to the post office and pick it up.

Can't say much about the garbage though. Push harder on the top to stuff the extra in?

I find it interesting this AM that I got mail yesterday but a package my carrier is carrying did not get delivered. I guess it would not fit in the box at the mail station and he did not want to fight the snow to my door.
And UPS has decided that they will not deliver my package until 1/3 now according to their website.
I hope somebody tells these people that the WX Service is showing 30% chance of snow Monday-Wednesday of next week!

It sure does at 5400' and above, sometimes lower.
We lived at 4400' in SE AZ a couple of times over the years and got snow there too on occasion.
Believe it or not, AZ is not all golf courses in the Phoenix area!
