Article in the Courier Employees of local Internet service provider purchase company and set their own career path - The Prescott Daily Courier - Prescott, Arizona

Bulleri bought by employees.

They are expanding the coverage area into the Verde Valley next month - and want to cover most of the county by the end of the year.

"We're reaching out to the unserved and underserved markets."

Other plans on the table include helping customers solve their computer problems through remote desktop services; helping them connect new equipment; and offering wireless and phone line connections to create greater bandwidth.

Not sure what "most of the county" means, but this could offer new hope to those away from the major population centers.

Interesting, and a little competition never hurt anybody.

I have had two dealings with Bulleri, now BOLT, and both have been very positive.

The first was when I used to travel from Yuma to Prescott to provide the Sound for the Rodeo. There was no internet available at the Rodeo Grounds, for either myself or the contestants unless you had some sort of wireless card from a cell phone provider. I spoke to the General Manager of Prescott Frontier Days about doing a "trade" with Bulleri of advertisement at the Rodeo in exchange for their providing a wireless network at the rodeo grounds for the contestants. Bulleri installed the Wireless Access Point at the Rodeo Grounds, and it remains in service (free for a short period of time for visitors/transients) to this day.

The second dealing was when I desired to purchase Internet Access for use during the Rodeo on the 4th of July, and then again in August for the Bull Riding. Since the dates were more than 30 days apart, I would have had to purchase two months of service to satisfy an 8 day requirement. The folks at Bulleri arranged it so that my one month purchase would cover both events.

I have been to their office (in the old Bulleri Building) and have always been impressed with their customer service and support. I wish them the best of luck in their new venture, and I'm sure they will succeed, as their past operation has always reflected their new goals.
