I hate to take up much space here in the forum with Pix but I take a few from time to time.

I see in today's paper that they have an event schedule you can download and an article about the events starting today.
For those that are interested here is a link.

Birthday party of the century: Arizona Centennial celebrations kick off today with Prescott Best Fest - The Prescott Daily Courier - Prescott, Arizona

I did not know that all this was going to happen but it's going to be quite an event.

We were down there yesterday. Lots of people that seemed to be having a good time. Some very interesting exhibits there too.
My wife is a native of the state and noted that many things displayed about the history of the state she was unaware of from her schooling.
I thought the aircraft flyovers were nice but as our place is only a mile away from the courthouse we could have seen them from home easy as they came right over our house. I really liked the PT-17s. Those were the yellow and blue bi planes that were used for trainers before WWII and I guess at the start of WWII as well.
I understand all the hotels and motels were full up for the weekend according to the paper and I heard some comments from people in the crowds that they just came up for the day as they could not get a room.
I am betting that the restaurants were very busy for the weekend too.
I have never seen so much set up for one event like this and I thought it was all very well done.
