One think I did notice was a bunch of fakes trying to act like someone you know they never were, all while trying to get their hands in your pocket with their real estate license. Some moron wearing blue jeans with suspenders and a cowboy hat and boots and looking like he just stepped out of the suburbs and into the Tame, Tame West. That was mostly at the popular bars on Whiskey Row.
But I did find a couple less polished and yuppie-cowboyified bars that reminded me more of the blue-collar neighborhood bars that I've always liked. I liked the Pinon Pines for example...I think that's what it's called.

Hi Leana,
Don't live there yet....Hopefully in a few years though.....I retire in 3 years and I'll be 46...Too young not to work and I have little kids, so I'll be looking for a job. I'll be out there for the 4th of July. Most likely July 2-5. I'm sure I'll end up there a couple nights. I'll be the bald guy from Detroit....
I stumbled in there a few years ago, about a year after the Hells Angels lost the place. Does Wayne still own it?

I don't know if he still owns it. I'm not sure who took over. They had closed down last year for 2 months and reopened in November and they had a big party!! I was there and it was a lot of fun!!!
