Default Prescott Home Invasion & Sexual Assault

This is a serious crime that took place today.

Prescott police investigating home-invasion sexual assault - The Prescott Daily Courier - Prescott, Arizona

Hopefully someone seen something and the police get leads so they can stop this predator from striking again.

It's good to see the Courier printing crime reports now and then. It will help us all be alert and what to watch for and report.

I do not understand why they do not have a police blotter like so many other papers.

Do you think it is the police that won't cooperate, or the paper that won't print it?

The paper will always print it. The police don't want to release the info.

Thanks Brian. I just signed up. I will also be taking a concealed carry/personal protection course from Gunsite in Paulden. I have been putting it off, but this is excellent motivation to not put it off anymore.

Moderator cut: snip

The Prescott home invasion that took place was probably reported in the paper because it was so "high profile" and it's hard to keep such things under wrap.

My bet is that the Prescott PD would be uncomfortable with the ratio of crimes committed to cases ended with a conviction.

The Prescott PD still hasn't given any updates as to that Home Invasion and Sexual Assault. Quite pathetic...

Law enforcement policy is to keep all info confidential until the investigation has been completed. This is required in order to keep the investigation from being jeopardized. If and when the investigation has been completed then the public should be made aware of the facts that were uncovered. It is supposed to work that way, lets see what happens.
