Was reading the paper today and saw the story about Chino Valley residents reporting a small earthquake and a "boom" sound. Anyone in this area have any reports? Do you think this area will have more earthquake activity in the future. Hopefully, so less people continue to move here (kidding)

I do not believe any earthquakes have ever caused serious damage in Chino Valley.

OMG, I felt one on Monday and one on Tuesday and none of my neighbors felt them except for one neighbor on Tuesday. It was the strangest experience, brought back memories of California. Although, believe you me this earthquake was very mild in comparison. The house shook for 5 seconds, then the boom and when it happened the next day, I freaked, thought something wrong with my house. Wow, glad to know it was a earthquake.

It is interesting to note that List Today's Earthquakes in Arizona, United States says there have been no earthquakes in AZ in the last seven days.

Our bedroom windows have long beaded chains to pull the shades. One of them is our tremor indicator. It was swinging this morning. Earthquake, mining blasting, who knows?
