Prescott Canyon Estates (55+ community) next to Lowes and the subdivisions over by Willow Lake - there are too many to list, but they are all manufactured homes.

You can build a home in Prescott Valley's Quailwood subdivision, for roughly the high 180's. You can get a 1450ft ranch built by Dorn Builders. Check the subdivision/models online, and definitely take a drive through while you are here visiting! There are a lot of standard features in their homes, including granite countertops and different stain color choices on your cabinets. The views of Mingus Mountain and the Bradshaw Mountains are beautiful! It's a nice & quiet, wide-open feeling here, yet close to shopping, but not right on top of it. The location here makes it easy to travel to Sedona & Phoenix, being close to hwy 69, 169, 89A, plus easy access to interstate 17.

My wife and I moved to Prescott as a retirement destination in May, 2015. I am 70 and my wife is in her sixties. We did a lot of real estate research online and narrowed our choice location down to Prescott. After living here since May, it is clear that we made the right choice for us. Although the outlying areas of Chino Valley and Prescott Valley have lower priced homes, these areas are poorly zoned and choked with commuter traffic when you drive to or from Prescott. While real estate prices are high in Prescott, it is possible to purchase a home in the price range you have mentioned. Find a well-recommended real estate agent who understands exactly when you are looking for within your price range. Be deliberate, thorough, and patient.
