I am hoping for some detailed recommendations for Prescott area schools for a child who is AdHD and dyslexic. We will be moving to the area and need suggestions for the best schools equipped to handle these issues.

Since no one has any info about ADD specifically, can you give me your thoughts on Prescott vs. Prescott Valley schools. Would you say one district is better over the other? Does anyone have any personal experience with schools in either area?

Is your child on an IEP?

I will go out on a limb and say that most teachers should be able to handle adhd with communication. Even if there is no IEP or 504 plan you are your child's advocate.

ADD and dyslexia are "minor" problems and almost any school should be equipped to deal with both. Be sure to bring your IEP to the new school district as this will help with appropriate placement.
