Just learned that a new recovery group home managed by Paramount Recovery is coming to our subdivision. I'd like to hear from anyone who lives near any one of Paramount Recovery's other group homes on what, if any, impact their homes have had on their neighborhood. I'm not interested learning about their programs, and I realize that some group homes (managed by other companies) have been problematic for the surrounding neighborhood. I'm really trying to understand what impact group homes managed specifically by Paramount Recovery have had on their neighbors by folks who live near them.

Thanks.

They are still allowing new group homes in Prescott? When I lived there several years ago I thought they weren't letting any new ones in?

Hopefully they are a tabacco free home. The main thing I remember about group homes, as I did plumbing work on several of them, was the large groups of people always outside chain smoking cigarettes ALL day long. I'd sell while you still can.

The feds said they couldn't restrict them because addiction is classified as a disability and the ADA protects them.
