they are not and have never been generally dealt with as criminals. The reason is that it would cost too much and delay deportation for months. They are treated as violators of administrative rules. Which is cheap and quick.

As I said your statement was a misdirection because you know the vast majority of illegals are deported via an administrative and non-criminal action.

They can not.. do not.. and don't even bother to improve thier
own country/situation. it is much easier for them to sneak
over here and take what they can get... at Americans expense.
Many do not sneak over for a job, there are thousands of them
sneaking over looking to work the system, make American babies,
add to the already overloaded foodstamps/healthcare/education,
low income housing and welfare system. Thousands are commiting
crimes and filling up our already overloaded jails & prisons. So we
are suppose to just sit back and let them over-run our country?
We are to sit back and let them take what they have not earned?
We have a LEGAL immigration system that has improved the lives
of millions. They struggled thru the legal process, they were given
a helping hand AS they helped themselves. There is a good reason
why we have a legal immigration process... those who think we should
let every illegal enter and give them all a free handout... then why don't
you give them your money, let them live in your home, feed them,
let them all stand in front of your house, sell thier drugs on your corner,
help bail them out of jail.. what are you doing to help the illegals?

I have struggled and worked my butt off all my life.. nobody ever just
gave to me.. so now, I am suppose to keep giving more in taxes just
so we can give others a free-ride.. BS.
I have paid my dues...just like many other hard working Americans!
I have paid my share in extra taxes so those
who have come LEGALLY can eventually do the same for others.

Don't get me wrong... I can understand to a point the plight of illegal immigrants, but hey, they're still breaking the law.

California needs to get the priorities straight, and it should be: obey the laws of the land - then go on from there.

Unfortunately California is getting closer and closer to the bottom of the barrel for any kind of retirement living. Their taxes will soon be skyrocketing into the ozone layer and will all of the illegal behavior going on the nice weather will not balance it all out.
I think our beloved politicians forget that if they allow lawless behavior (such as illegal immigration) then why should everyone else follow the rule of law? Eventually, society falls apart. Look at Obama's cabinet, did any of them pay their taxes????!
