That's what I'm afraid of...same kind of situation where we live in Florida...a retiree town with drugs....not a good situation at all.

Gridlock is awful here in summer months and during the Fall (Weekends only). Everyone from Phoenix comes up here to escape the brutal summer heat. I can't wait to leave.
Re:the skunks, I live in Prescott Valley and every night when I let the dogs to go out one last time I smell a skunk, and sometimes about 6am I smell one too. I'm just hoping the dogs don't scare one and get sprayed!

ArizonaGirl, I'm hoping to leave this area this summer. I hate all the traffic and growth! Next week I'm heading up toward SW CO and check out the little towns up that way.

I was visiting Pagaso/Pagaso Springs, CO not to far from Durango, CO not long ago. It seemed to be growing, but nothing like the growth in Prescott/Prescott Valley.

Brian2, I hope to check out the areas outside of Durango and to the west, Mancos, Cortez. Tho, I think I would like to be closer to Durango.
