As a investment point of view:

Would you recommend buying a house to rent it out?

What area would you recommend to purchase a house for rental?

What is the average rent?

How long does it take to rent a house out?

Renting a home can be a nightmare,I would not recommend it to anyone. I would however recommend buying land in or near a growing metropolitan area, less headaches and heartaches than managing a rental but you still have an opportunity to get in on rising prices in an area.
