Post Classic Car Shows In Prescott Area

CHECKTHECODES STATED:"I own a lot of classic cars and the two car clubs I would recommend if your looking to join one would be Prescott Auto Enthusiasts and Prescott Antique Auto Club. Since you have a 37 Oldsmobile you would fit right in with either one. I would shy away from Dewey Classic Cruisers and Yavapai Classic Cruisers due to past battles and internal problems. Myself, I don't belong to a club and like my independence with no rules. Everyone uses Cruise Arizona (www.cruisearizona.com) for their car cruise and show information. FYI June 17 -20 is the National Antique Oldsmobile Club 28th Annual National Meet in Prescott, it's on that website and they do a good job on keeping it updated. Also pick up a copy of the Tri-City Motor News that comes out the first week of each month, pick it up at NAPA then subscribe to it for free if you wish and it's mailed to your house at no cost."

Thank you for the information on the Classic Car shows and clubs. It will give me something to do in PV. I will be going to the shows after we settle down in our new home. I am a member of the Good Guys, which I attended in California. Newy

I also have a classic 37 Olsmobile that I take to car shows. I would like to find a car club that I can get info on local car shows.

And, don't forget, a 37 Olds will run over and kill a snake everytime!

As far as classic car friendly "cities".
Kingman goes all out for a full street block party http://www.cruisearizona.com/kingmanbeale.pdf (broken link)
Seligman a close second http://www.cruisearizona.com/seligman.doc (broken link)
It's to bad Prescott & Prescott Valley don't wake up and take advantage of all the classic cars here.

I thought there was a classic car rally here almost weekly during the summer. My problem is I don't know about them til after they've come and gone. Sometimes they're downtown, sometimes they're at Watson Lake, sometimes they're at a car dealership, and I think there's one weekly in PV at Sonic Drive-In or some other parking lot.

It would be great if they had them at IN-N-Out Burger.

I don't know about a PAE show, but do know that there will be a car show at the Gateway Mall on Father's Day (June 16th).

I is their first attempt at this, and it's called "Daddio on the Patio".
