COTTONWOOD... Here We Come!
Hey.. just wanted to THANK you all for the ton of great info this past year!
We have finally made our minds up and have decided on Cottonwood area.
We found a lovely home there. We should be all sorted and packed by the
middle of July... hope to arrive around the the first of August.
Thanks Everyone!

I love Cottonwood better than Prescott....GREAT CHOICE!!!
Wished I was there. I go there just about every other weekend just to get out of Prescott for a few hours. I love the shopping there and doing fun things too (there's about 2 great little bar & grill places there that I love going to when I want to have a little fun).

The job market is just not there in Prescott, though I don't know much about the 2 areas, this is just what I hear. Cottonwood is an amazing place, with scenic views easily accessible. Jerome, Sedona, Slide Rock. The beauty is endless. Mild winters. Cottonwood is perfect. I may move there myself. If you have a 4wd truck, check out Mingus Mountain. The trail head starts between Cottonwood and Prescott, whichever road that is, and the trail end is on the south side of Cottonwood. But please tread lightly. The trail took me about 2 1/2 hours in January 08, with plenty of shifting and 4low action, and picture stops.
Here is a few pictures I took overlooking Cottonwood.
