Unfortunately, the centipedes are in Prescott and the surrounding areas. The tri-city is centipede country. You just got lucky that you did not get them when you lived at that Prescott home.
I get them inside my Prescott business, a lot. I have a company spray but they are very tough and do not die fast, but it will eventually kill them. Besides that, they are POISONOUS!

Man, if you get bit, it will hurt, really bad.
I would use GLUE TRAPS to try and catch them inside the home. If you have pets, they might get caught in the glue traps also.
You have to realize that every place you visit has bug spray. When you visit a store, bathroom, even restaurants, they spray for bugs. In Arizona, not spraying for bugs, will usually cause a bug infestation. Depending on where you live. Once an area has been professionally sprayed, and the spray dries, it is not harmful to people and pets, as long as they don't eat off the ground. Have the exterminator spray OUTSIDE of the home, this will kill them before they get inside.
You have to be pro-active. Glue traps work great but depending on your pets, that might pose a problem.
SPRAY OUTSIDE
SEAL YOUR DOOR GAPS, WINDOWS, ETC to prevent bugs from coming in
USE GLUE TRAPS INSIDE
This should bring an end to your pest problem
