I would generally agree with the above posts. The only exceptions are those areas that use the Mayer post office, but are not within the "downtown" Mayer area - using the word "downtown" liberally. For example, Bensch Ranch is a nice, upscale subdivision that uses the Mayer post office, but in no way resembles Mayer. Bensch Ranch more closely resembles Prescott Lakes (minus the golf course). Also, Cordes Lake uses the Mayer post office and is a nicer area compared to downtown Mayer.
