Default Missing Chino Valley and Prescott

We are on vacation for the last month in Indiana/Ohio. Helped work in yard and got infected with poison ivy and had to see a doctor. It rains every other day, with high humidity. Mosquito bites, bee stings and I perspire profusely. The luscious greenery is beautiful and inviting to the eye but give me my Tri City area any old time.

We are visiting the Cumberland Plateau at Fairfield Glade, TN and we are loving the scenery but the high humidity is not fun for us. The smell of musty odors due to dampness. One more month and I will be back home for good.

That was a complete bonus for us - no bugs! We were sitting on our deck after we moved here and realized that we hadn't spraid ourselves from head to foot with reppellant. Any yet, we were not getting bitten. That was like icing on the cake.

Chino Valley just had a home invasion where the owner of the home was shot in the head (73 years of age) and the wife (68 years of age) was stabbed in the chest by 2 offenders.

Crime is on the rise here, that is fact, violent crime is on the rise also. These home invasions are just starting and more will start to surface.

But there is no crime in CV, it's all a figment of your imagination, now go back to dream land.

Usually it's best to consider the source and ignore the same, but this misinformation is blatant "spin" that omits essential and relevant material facts.

It has been reported several times in the Daily Courier that the case referred to by the above poster was allegedly committed by the former son-in-law of the victims. It appears to have been a matter of revenge by the perpetrators and, while technically and legally a home invasion, in no way was it a random crime. And in no way can it be used to support a claim of "These home invasions are just starting and more will start to surface.".

I left a LINK to the story, therefore anyone can go and review the information. In the original headline, it was NOT reported that there was any "son in law" status on any of the offenders.

It did state that they were both ex-cons going around robbing people in CV, in an attempt to get money so they can buy meth. It appears that they attempted to rob another couple in CV that same night.

Eating wild mushrooms is not good for ones health.

DellNec, you entertain me and I thank you as sometimes I need a good laugh. Yawn, crime is on the rise in CV? Statistics please? and home invasions are just starting and more will start to surface...but it is only here in CV..no where else, because CV attracts this type of element? How can you assume home invasions are on the rise? This is the first home invasion I have heard about in CV.

I have never lived in a quieter neighborhood than the one I live in now. My husband and I have lived 15 different places in our life and I have never enjoyed a more peaceful and tranquil neighborhood and I feel "SAFE" where I live.

Again, DellNec, thank you for the entertainment.
