Default JACK Antenna Injector Problem

Hi everyone: Here is a problem I had with the JACK antenna injector. I was moving the injector outside to use a splitter so i could feed the signal to another TV. IMPORTANT: The splitter must be on the "To TV" side, NOT the cable to the antenna. In the process of doing it, i suddenly discovered that there was No Signal on any channel. After some wiggling of connections to the injector, i found that signal came and went as the power plug was wiggled.

One screw holds the injector together so i opened it up. The plug on the circuit board was loose. After a couple of unsuccessful tries with a little soldering iron to secure it, i removed it altogether, leaving three holes: center +, outside - which was a large copper common ground.

I cut the plug off the power supply, determined polarity with a meter, stripped and tinned the wires, and pulled them through the holes. Then i soldered them to the largest solder pad i could find for + and =.

Now it works OK and i expect it to continue working.

Default Current Status of off-air TV in Prescott

Channels 5-1 and 5-2 (CBS and Weather) are now available in the Prescott area. So is channel 2 (NBC). Channels 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, and 8-4 (PBS) have been available for some time. Another channel KNAZ 61 is available. Not sure what net they are affiliated with.

Does anybody know if "My 45" has any plans or outlet for HD?

Finally, here is a link to a site that seems to indicate some possible spoilers to free OTA TV. Apparently to acomodate increased cell-phone, iPad, Android, etc. wireless; some UHF channels may be sold. Real motive is probably to make sure nothing is free unless you pay for it .
