[quote=Tom Lane;11378010]Perhaps the forum could be combined with Flagstaff and Sedona as:
"Flagstaff - Prescott - Sedona"
I'm sold. I think the powers that be at C-D should take this suggestion under serious consideration. This forum needs a jolt.

Considering relocating to Prescott. I have been there and it is a beautiful area! I am a physician assistant and would like to find a hospitalist position or work in ER, family practice or an internal medicine practice. Can any one tell me of reputable physicians who may be interested in hiring a PA? I understand it is expensive to live there but that more affordable housing can be found in the surrounding communities (correct?). How cold and snowy are the winters? Also would be interested in the quality of Christian churches there. I prefer a more contemporary venue with solid Biblical teaching. How are the schools? I know I'm asking alot of questions here...any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

My 2 Cents
The PRESCOTT Forum has had 322 Threads, with 3797 Posts. For our Tri City area this is a respectable amount.
I personally like being able to "hone in" on issues in my area, and disliked having to weed through the ARIZONA Threads to find those applicable to the Prescott (Chino Valley) area.
As to the negative Posts, I have the ability to click on the next Thread when I encounter this type of Post.
I truely feel that the PRESCOTT Forum is better off with quality as opposed to quantity, and think it achieves that.
If you were a person with intentions of moving to the Prescott area, or a person interested in the activities in the Prescott area, wouldn't you rather be able to go to a Forum that discusses that area, as opposed to sorting through a number of unrelated Threads.

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to Chino Valley, Esenjay. You seem so happy to be here and I am glad to hear this. I am happy to live in Chino Valley, too.

Thanks, Smilin'. It's quite a move for my family and I but we're excited to be in our own home, in a small town, out of the hustle and bustle of a bigger city. Lots of friendly people around town, relaxed and peaceful. It's something I've personally needed for a long time and am looking forward to many years here.

Let me add a welcome to you Esenjay. I've only been here for 5 months, having moved from Yuma, and I've not found one thing I dislike about Chino Valley. We lived "out of town" in Yuma, and did not want to move into a densly populated area, yet wanted to be within a reasonable distance from "all the shopping and stores".
Chino Valley fits that bill perfectly. We also downsized on the land (10 acres to 1.1 acre) and that frees up a lot of yard maintenance time for other things.
Love it here, and I hope you will also. Good luck.

Thank you sir, I'm looking forward to many good years here in Chino Valley. It beats the heck out of where I moved from, the house I bought would sell for a million bucks in California (uh oh, I said the C word--hope that doesn't attract more derision!).

as far as i am concerned i just don't have time to dwell why one forum is slower that others .IMO it must be that some people have to much time on their hands nad nothing better to do than "stir the pot" . now , this is just my opine and not criticism of others . honest !! twust moi !
