My parents are flying in from Dallas on Friday for their first visit to Arizona since my wife, kids and I moved here back in June.

We plan to drive up to Prescott one of the days their visiting and show them around the city. Are there certain parts of the town that have holiday decorations up that would make for good photos of my parents and my two young daughters?

Anything else around town that stands out as being better to see during the holidays? We'll be there during daylight as we need to get our two kids to bed at their normal time.

Prescott is AZ's Official Christmas City.

Downtown should be pretty nice.

Prescott known as 'Christmas City' in Arizona for all of its holiday fun

You'll be missing a lot if you don't see the lights in Courthouse Square.

Our daughters are 2 1/2 and 8 months old. Considering it'll take us an hour and a half to get home from Prescott, staying past dusk will put us back home too late.

I did some digging on the Prescott home page and found that this weekend is Elves Downtown Weekend. Elves Weekend

Prescott is beautiful with the Christmas stuff up.

Does your parents like to eat out? There's quite a lot of nice restuarants to try. Do they like to drink beer? There's the Prescott Brewing Co. They have beer from all over the world and great food there too.
