Rather than predict the Super Bowl or conference winners, I thought I'd post this poll, as it's probably more original. With training camps opening, and the threat of no NFL next year, this might be the last year of normalcy for a while. With that said, who is in line to 'earn' the #1 pick of the 2011 NFL draft?
-Oakland will be better. A lot better.
-Cleveland will still suck, not the worst, but maybe ranked 30th because they are impatient and do not let players develop in their system (Brady Quinn coming off his best year, Derek Anderson being benched for almost all of 2008, Kelen Winslow, and Braylon Edwards)
-The Lions are on the move to become noticable in the NFL, I really like what they are doing to improve their franchise, lets just hope they don't trade their players like Cleveland did.
- The St. Louis Rams have to be atleast a little better with Sam Bradford
- Tampa Bay will still suck, but maybe 31st. The management has made terrible decisions in getting rid of Jeff Garcia, and John, which whom was one of the best coaches in the NFL when he was the Tampa Bay head coach. Plus, if Byron Leftwich can win a game with the Steelers, how come he couldn't win a game with the Bucs? Because the Bucs have horrible talent and a lot of the players are WAY overrated. If the Bucs didn't win the superbowl, than their franchise would look a lot simular to the Detroit Lions, except the Lions finally have some good brains in their management office to bring up the hype of spectacular Ford Field.
Oakland and Cleveland will improve a little. Detroit certainly won't be in the worst five.
Tampa and Buffalo won't be pretty, especially considering they got six games vs. tough in division opponents. Those two and St. Louis should be the bottom three. I'd lean towards St. Louis right now, as I don't think Bradford will be that much of a savior right out the gate.
Don't sleep on the Raiders. They could be a playoff contender.
