All that and by the time the playoffs roll around and his body has taken some hits...the Vikings will have the worst starting QB in their division.

I'm not sure if it's rust or age, but he's sure playing like it.

After last night's performance, I think Brett should have hung it up last season.

Finally !

After last night's game Minneapolis TV sports guys were saying a big reason Favre looked " out of synch" was missing so much of Viking's earlier practices.

Up until now, they were proclaiming that because Favre is soooooo great, he can just show up and be sharp as ever.

Reading coments posted on Minnesota newspaper websites, many are finally questioning the wisdom of putting the Viking season on a QB that age.

It will take at least 3 or 4 games for me to make up my mind, but it DID seem like he didnt want to be there last night. We shall see. I think he was going to sit out and retire, wanted to come back in his heart but knew he shouldnt in his head...then they came and got him... Ive been in situations like that. Old saying, becareful what you wish for, it might come true. Either way, I still admire guts and detrermination. My Ankle was injured 4 months ago, and I still cant run on it. I still take Anti-inflamatory meds, Its still swollen. It takes about 9 -12 months to fully recover from grade 3 sprains.

I just saw a pic of him that looked like he was crying - again. I have no problem with a man displaying emotion, but this guy has done this over and over. Get a grip. Cry baby.

I kind of agree with you, but do you really think T-Jack would have been any better? Or Sage? Favre was the Vikings best option for this season.
