It's becoming obvious that the Vikings are not the team they were last year. Their O-line for one thing, seems to be lacking. If they could shore that O-line up and at least give Favre a chance, maybe the season isn't lost yet.

But if it's true that he was talked out of retirement to give it one more shot, it shouldn't all be an Favre for trying... one more time... despite his prior record of indulging the spot light.

But what the sports experts are honking about now is how he looks going into the games on Sunday. They say he looks 53 years old and not 41. They say he comes limping into the locker room like he just got done with 3 hours of torcher. The guy may not be able to go again, like he once did.

So, should Viking fan be upset that he tried? Not the ones who welcomed his return. The season should be written off as an experiment to know once and for all... Favre should have retired back when... back when he threw that interception against the NY Giants... as a Packer.

But for those Viking fans who don't care about the Favre legacy should be calling for his job and demand he retire asap so you can salvage the season. But keep this in mind; when's the last time you even got a sniff of the Super Bowl, much less won the thing?

I say the Favre Experiment was a worthy one. I also say that the Saints emptied what little bit he had left in the tank last February. He deserves a HOF bid not just for winning one, but for two other reasons; being the gunslinger that he was and also his longevity and durabililty. As an Elway fan, I say RECOGNIZE! Not everybody gets to go out like Elway did. That's just the way it is. A QB does not win the Super Bowl Never did, never will. They do, sometimes, get you there though.

So whatever doesn't fit your ideals, whatever you don't like, you hate? No objectivity. Just narrow-minded, emotionally driven individuals. I get it.
