Sigh. Yeah, thats some strong koolaid buddy....giving teams the ball in your own territory A LOT and then blaming the defense for short field scores. lol.
yeah, troy aikman was all over BF's jock yesterday, quite nausiating. I loved it how quiet they were when he'd throw a stupid pass, just dumb silence. very telling.

of course aikman also said BF must have knocked out some chicklets or something quite severe like that for him to have been carted off like that... how'd that work out for you Troy?

I lost count how many times Troy said "Brett Favre" as a proper noun - good thing we didn't have a "Brett Favre Drinking Game" yesterday - we would of all passed out before the 1st quarter was over!

Seems obvious that with 292 consecutive starts, and with 9 games left of the Vikings regular season schedule, that Favre, the coach and team will have him start those remaining games to get him to 300 before the end of the season, at which time IMO he retires as a player.

If he were on a crappy team and they went 2-14 instead of 4-12 then that's one thing...heck, they get a better draft pick.

However, this is a NFC championship calibre team with their backups playing...and they burned a draft pick on Moss to improve for this season which is mind-boggling as it shows they intended to still make a playoffs run but then kept starting a hurt QB.

Oh well, I agree with the 300 comment. Frankly, this is the worst management imaginable and leaves you thinking that the Vikings are doomed even if they get the right players together with management that bad.

so, if Favre just took the first snap or played the 1st four downs, he could still count that game toward his record...is that right? But then I guess that would be too obvious why he's there.

... until next season when he unretires again, another team gets sucked into his drama and ESPN preempts the rest of their programming to cover this never ending ego trip.

if the league does suspend him (which I doubt they will), then the record stops and he can retire after this season, especially if Vikes don't make the playoffs...no reason to come back. Does he have a one year contract?
