Adam Schefter of ESPN reported a little over a half hour ago that Brett Favre has no plans to return to the Minnesota Vikings for the 2010 season. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported it as well earlier this morning.

Good news for the Bears though!

Seems like he's said this before only to show up near the end of camp. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Let me guess, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported it then suddenly Schefter's "sources" told him the same. Cause ESPN would never fail to give proper credit.

Haha, good to know we have the same sources as Schefter.

Well, we'll see! ESPN has had non stop coverage on this for the last half hour, but I hear ya talking otherwise!

I love when people try to bash ESPN (cause they're the biggest fish in the pond). The Star-Tribune reported Brett Favre told management, Schefter's sources were reporting Favre was texting players the decision...

I'm bashing them because they're notorious for not giving proper credit, rather quoting unnamed sources, regardless if this situation is an absolute example of that. My post specifically made towards Schefter was made in jest, my point not withstanding.
