yeah the NFC East is still the most competitive I believe, but I still think that the AFC North can take that title away from them. You have 3 young teams, one very old team, the browns, but All other divisions despite the NFC East have only 1 or 2 good teams, and at least 2 or 3 very bad teams. I don't see a team winning their division at 8-8 at all this year such as the Chargers did in 2008, lmao, but I don't see many other competitive divisions. AFC East? AFC South maybe? Who knows. We will find out.

Let me preface this by admitting to being a Ravens fan.....

AFC North I reminds me of the old Black and Blue Division, The Packers, Lions, Bears and Vikings. They beat up on each other. Bengals are the team to beat in the North because they swept the division last year. The Ravens look good this year with the addition of some solid offensive weapons. The Defense looks good, IF, the defensive backfield comes around. The Steelers are always in the mix but with Big Ben out who knows how they respond this year. The Browns are up and coming. Holmgren has a plan in place but does it include Mangini after this year, I am not sure?

Of course this is just my humble opinion.

All of the above posts were deleted because they were off topic.

What IS the topic? Is the AFC North the new division to beat?

What are you smoking? What does the past have anything to do with how the division is today? The Bengals won the division last year sweeping it. The Ravens played great ball at the end of the season and the Steelers will be improved this year as well (you really think they'll miss the playoffs again?). Point is, that is 3 teams out of 4 that could make the playoffs. Hell, I can give arguments for each of them to be in the Super Bowl.

The NFC East is a tough division as well. That being said, I think the AFC North is a tad better.
