I think that ESPN is right. Nobody knew if Brett Favre is retiring last year, the year before, or this year, untill we saw him on the field. If hes not on the field, he has retired.

Westbrook wanted to go to a winning team and he chose the 49ers, one of the most successful franchises in the NFL. He is a good pickup.

Since Smiith is succesful in the shotgun spread out offense. Westbrook and play a big role as a blocker and catches short passes.

49ers are not a winning team, they have no QB

49ers have 3 QB's.

This is Smith's first as a starter and also same offensive coordinator for the first time. He never really had a chanc to play because of injuries and coaching changes.

Alex reminds me of Steve Young when he as a backup. Young had to wait a few years before getting a real chance and we all know what happenend afterwards.

YES they are my brother! They have shown growing pains last year, which means they are growing! 5 time superbowl champs? They sure are a winning team.

Ever since Singletary stepped in, the whole team's attitude has changed!

Im not a 49er fan, but I don't hate them either. But I do pay attention to every NFL team, Im a football nerd. But I agree with that, because Singletary has kept on fighting to give the 49ers their winning ways again. Plus, they have a really good shot at winning the NFC West, and I'm pretty sure it will be between the 49ers and Seahawks.

According to you the Bengals and Panthers didn't have QB's either yet they've fielded winning teams with Palmer and Delhomme.
