The airbags at ESPN will surely rattle on about Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers and the other usual suspects (off-topic, don't forget Tiger Woods in 23rd place!) until they're no longer part of the playoff picture...which NFL team(s) will make them stop??

I'm going with the 9ers...because every year they are the September/Paper Champs. This year will be no different.

6-10

I don't see how a team that played in the AFC championship game two years ago, and advanced to the divisional round last year, could be considered a surprise team this year. Unless by surprise you mean 5-11.

The Ravens are my super bowl pick, but I'm not sure that would be a big surprise to many, they're loaded with talent.

Agreed, and the Texans arrow is pointing up, and the Titans played really well last year after a terrible start. So I have no idea whats up with this poll.

Singletary runs a tight ship, but they still need a couple more seasons to break the ice. Still, they're headed in the right direction. They will be much improved this year.

I think Green Bay may surprise a few people this year. Aaron Rogers is certainly coming into his own and I think they have a pretty good receiving corps.

If Green Bay goes 12-4 and wins their division, would anyone be surprised? No.
