I have trouble picking up WR's that are great when I think their QB is garbage. For isntance I never take giants players because i think eli is required by law to wear his helmet on and off the field.

I picked up Danny Amendola (Rams) this week. He might be a good replacement for Calvin Johnson (Lions) if he is limited. And he will be limited...the Lions are playing the Giants.

I have never found it useful to start a third receiver on a team, unless their offense is having an incredibly productive year. Reason being that they aren't going to be on the field for most downs. The only reason I would lean towards is for a bye-week filler, and other teams are performing similar moves. You can make a case for starting the second reciever on a very good team, because that player will be on the field far more frequently than the third receiver.

I have some lineup questions:

In my PPR league, should I start:
Aaron Rodgers or Matt Ryan?
Jeremy Shockey or Aaron Hernandez?
Ryan Torian, Crabtree, or Santonio Holmes? (pick one)

In my non-PPR league should I start:
Witten, Santana Moss, Houshmandzadeh, Tony Gonzalez, or Mario Manningham? (pick 3)

Ryan (it looks like Rodgers will start but he might get a ton of points or leave in the 1st quarter, safe play is Ryan (steady but unspectacular)

Hernandez (moving Moss shows the commitment to the short passing game, he'll get a lot of looks going forward)

Torian (Indy has given up a ton of Fantasy points to RB's especially on the road, Torain will get a lot of touches to keep Manning off the field)

I left a lot of points on my bench in Eli Manning and Malcolm Floyd last week. If Mark Clayton didn't tear up his knee I would have still won.

This week I leave Michael Crabtree, Matt Schaub, and Marshawn Lynch on the bench and relied on Rob Bironas last night to inch by last night.

Fantasy ugh!
