Well, I guess that wouldn't have worked out so great either way...

I'm sure you'll start Bowe next week, however (assuming)...

I lost in the final four, 100-45. My opponent had Michael Vick, and was carrying negative 1 at halftime. Almost all of his 34 points came in the fourth quarter. He still would have won, however, without him. I could have combined my bench with my starters, and I still would have lost. So, as an owner, you can't walk away disappointed after a loss like this. The other team was just better.

Good season, Mike.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm currently leading my opponent 122 to 50. He still has Cutler to play and I still have the Bears defense.

The Patriots D told me in no uncertain terms that they don't want to be benched again.

Hillis and MJD left big turds on the field for me, but Vincent Jackson, Kaeding, Witten, and Vick picked up a lot of slack.

I have a waiver claim on Derrick Ward. He may start in the league championship over Hillis @ Baltimore, in spite of his massive game against them earlier in the season.

I am still alive in my other league, with Foster. I haven't heard an injury update, please don't tell me he's unable to play this week?

Boy, the wheels are starting to fall off!

MJD - out.

Hillis - banged up and playing Baltimore.

Also have Rashaad Jennings and Ryan Torain.

Not sure whether to start Jennings or Torain in Drew's place or whether to start Torain and Jennings (although a nagging voice in the back of my head is saying "start Hillis")

Last night, I went into my consolation (3rd place) bowl losing by 3 points, with the Falcons defense remaining. My opponent had Matt Ryan. Therefore, my chances of winning at this stage MIGHT be 5%. I was losing by 6 points into the fourth quarter, then something remarkable happened. Drew Brees threw an ill-advised pass into the flat, and the Falcons defense returned for a TD. Our league scores 6 points for a defensive TD, and 2 more for an interception. All of a sudden, I go from down 6 to up 2. I hang on in the fourth quarter as the Saints D shuts down Ryan.

It might go down as the luckiest win I've ever experienced.

I can still win if Vick scores 47.1 points tonight. I feel sort of like the 1993 Oilers.
