I'm in a ten team league. My starters are: Michael Vick QB, Chris Johnson, Joseph Addai RB; Larry;Fitzgerald, Michael Crabtree, Louis Murphy WR; Antonio Gates TE' Jeff Reed, Kicker; Green Bay Defense/ST. I'm doing pretty damned well thus far.

Considering a trade:

My current roster:

QB: Rivers
RB: Michael Turner
RB: Frank Gore
W/T: Tony Gonzalez
W/T: Santana Moss
W/T: Jason Witten
K: Mason Crosby
Def: Baltimore

BN: Steve Breaston
BN: Houshmandzadeh
BN: Vince Young
BN: Darren Sproles
BN: Jason Snelling
BN: Chicago

I was offered a trade, Turner for two of these WRs: TO, Bouldin, Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas

Two questions:

1. Should I take this trade, which two WRs should I take?
2. Should I take this trade, I will need to drop someone, who should that be?

The only reason I am really considering this is because Turner has produced almost nothing for me through 2 games and I want to dump him while his value is still high in case he is headed for a down year.

What do you guys think?

I probably wouldn't do the trade, but if you want to: definitely Boldin and Dez Bryant

I would hold tight on that trade, because you have no suitable backup, unless you count Snelling. You are essentially, therefore, banking on a Turner injury and having Snelling fill in. You can't count on that to happen. If Turner stays upright, he's getting in the area of 25-28 touches a game. Your league only requires two WRs to start, not three. There, the trade is even less appealing. You really only need to bring back one receiver. If you do this, offer Turner plus one of your receivers, in exchange for one of his/her RBs and Boldin or Thomas. I don't think Bryant is going to have as good of a year, because Austin is going to be targeted consistently about 12 times per week.

Chris Johnson and Fitz, you guys got weird scoring or like a 4 person league?

Just got another trade offer, Wes Welker and Jonathan Stewart for Mike Turner and Steve Breaston. Again, here is my lineup:

QB: Rivers
RB: Michael Turner
RB: Frank Gore
W/T: Tony Gonzalez
W/T: Santana Moss
W/T: Jason Witten
K: Mason Crosby
Def: Baltimore

BN: Steve Breaston
BN: Houshmandzadeh
BN: Vince Young
BN: Darren Sproles
BN: Jason Snelling
BN: Chicago

Should I make this trade?? Non-PPR league.

I would say no, based on the fact that since it is not a PPR league, you are giving up the best player in the trade (Turner). However, let me ask a follow-up: how is yardage tallied in your league? I assume that all RB/WR touchdowns are awarded 6 points, regardless of distance?

If its a PPR id say yes because welker is going to do big things this year and on condition that you can actually pick up another running back on the waiver wire. You can replace TG with welker. Maybe look for brandon jackson, javhid best, or a starter that no one has claimed. If not then id say no because you have no one to really replace turner. As I said in your other thread, turner will produce stats. He is just off to slow start.

Anyone else pick up Peyton Hillis and not start him because they were scared of Baltimore?
