We won't even get CBS's double header.....

Riddick is out again. Thankfully Ansah, Slay and Levy are all active. This is going to be a tough game and possibly the most crucial of the remaining 3 games. Giants defense is playing amazing as of late. A tough contest on the road.

Let's go Lions!

Lions had no answer to two clutch plays from the Giants defense. Apple prevented a sure Tate touchdown by swatting the ball away in a brilliant defensive display and someone was able to use their head, literally, to pop the rock out of Zenner's grasp as he was set to cross the goal line. The game was within reach for most of the game.

The silver lining in this loss and the massive letdown from the Bears is that the Lions are still in the driver seat. No excuses. The Black & Blue division is still theirs to lose. Step up in Dallas and wrap it up at home against the Packers.

They aren't in the driver's seat. If GB wins out, GB is the NFC North champion. Again.

We have to beat Green Bay at home, but since our team is the Lions, that's unlikely. The Packers are just a blessed team whereas the Lions are cursed. I'm hoping that once Aaron Rodgers retires the Packers will suffer 50 years worth of losing and mediocre seasons.

At least you're not the Bears.

Giants' "D" is the best the Lions have had to face all season. I'll be in Michigan for the Monday night game coming up, so I'll have a bunch of folks to celebrate with.......or commiserate.

I heard that the Packers/Lions game has been flexed to Sunday night.....the Grand Finale.......?

I'd love to return for the finale on New Year's Day. Have fun back home. Had a blast last weekend at the game against Chicago. The 6.5 inches of snow was just like ol' times.

Two big games ahead. It's theirs to lose.

Go Lions!

Lions can clinch a playoff berth regardless of results of Minnesota v Green Bay & the MNF meeting at Dallas if the following 3 scenarios play out today:

1. Washington loss/tie at Chicago
2. Buccaneers lose to New Orleans
3. Falcons win/tie at Panthers

Not impossible. Easiest and surefire way is to step up against Dallas & Green Bay but I'd love to see it all wrapped up today. Still pulling hard for Minnesota today, though.

Week 17 will be for the division, huge game and I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't moved to a different time slot.
