Ending the season on a high note. I think we can beat Minnesota. Even if it's a loss I will actually be looking forward to next season. This team is finally headed in the right direction. Here's to Stafford not being a china doll next season!
The Dolphins have serious issues, Tampa will be a mere afterthought in 2 weeks, and we beat a beat up Packer team without Rodgers for most of the game.
A home win against the Vikings will be a good season toppper thing though.
The Lions have to be at least 4-2 in the NFC North to even have a shot at the playoffs next year.
Some key things for next season:
Stafford & Best need to be healthy for the entire season.
What gets me about football today is the fact that a team needs a minimum of three good quarterbacks in order to be viable and overcome injuries. What would the Lions have done without Stanton? In the 50s Bobby Layne was all we needed.
The Lions put a lot of pitifil woes to rest: road losses, lack of back to back road wins, lack of win streaks, years of losing to Minnesota. I finally have faith in the Lions.

Lions' Shaun Hill's dad dies after a fall at QB's home | Detroit Free Press | freep.com (http://www.freep.com/article/20110131/SPORTS01/101310431/1049/sports01/Lions-Shaun-Hill-s-dad-dies-after-fall-QB-s-home - broken link)
A tragic story. Prayers to Shaun Hill's family.
Quote:
Ted Hill, the father of Lions quarterback Shaun Hill, died Saturday at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo., hospital spokesman Mike Peters said Sunday night.
An obituary on the Carson-Wall Funeral Services Web site said Hill died at 4:55 p.m. Saturday after an accidental fall.
I agree. I am concerned about the secondary, but it will be impossible to run on them. If Stafford stays healthy, playoffs are definately a possibility. The NFC North is rough though, everyone in that division should be good this year.
Stafford not suffering from China Doll Syndrome is a key to success. Hill did well but he's not a long term solution. If Stafford goes down again it's back to the drawing board for a starting QB.
LeShoure is done for the season (torn achilles) and Fairly is out for training camp (broken foot).
Young will be out for most of training camp.
3 top picks, 3 top picks not playin' right now.
Just what are the Lions doing to these rookies?
