Game shouldn't have been as close as it was. Clearly both teams have issues. Bucs more so.

Lions keep playoff hopes alive. A local news broadcast placed the odds at 23% and there is a way the Lions can clinch a bye. Latter scenario must include a never-ending list of scenarios but that could make for a fun prop bet.

Stafford has been on fire. Green has added a little something to the aneamic running game. Ebron has stepped up his game and appears to be playing for a bigger contract elsewhere.

Cincinatti (away) and Green Bay (home) remain.

Ran the ball a little better, but didn't dominate. Looked like the Lions controlled the game though. Game ball should be shared with Stafford, the receivers, and the defensive backs.

Gotta beat the Bengals.

Congrats to Big Play Slay on his Pro Bowl selection. He's the only Lion selected. Stafford and Prater should've been selected too but, whatever, it's just a glorified scrimmage.

Cincinnati is in a terrible place and the Lions should be able to win on the road. Injuries may play a factor today but the Bengals have been playing poorly the last few weeks. Nothing is a given in the NFL and one positive thing I can say about Caldwell is that he's not cocky and will not overlook the Bengals. Having the Lions prepared and ready is another topic all together but no way is Caldwell considering this a given.

The playoffs are still in reach but a lot of results need to fall into place. Members of the pride, nationwide, will be routing for New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Tennessee and Seattle today with New Orleans and Tampa Bay being the most pressing. A link will be provided below providing a detailed breakdown and analysis of the results Detroit needs to have a shot at Super Bowl contention.

Merry Christmas, Lions fans. Hopefully they leave us a nice gift and not a stocking full of coal.

Bob Quinn better fire the entire coaching staff before they even leave Cincinnati.

Congrats to the Lions! They gave their all for their coaches, regardless of how the season turned out, they played with heart today, awesome effort in spite of nothing on the line.

Packers embarrassed themselves after McCarthy gave the playing for "pride" and the "G" on the helmet speech. Are you kidding me? Some high profile players, Clinton-Dix for one, played like he was trying to not tackle. I could go on and on but this is the Lions thread!

What could have been if the Lions had played like this in Cincinnati. The Bengals had a lame duck coach and literally nothing to play for and the Lions still couldn't make anything of it. In a grudge came they come out swinging and played solidly on all fronts. Stafford was a beast, Kenny G made one of the best catches you'll see all season and even the running attack put in one their best efforts of the year.

Sweeping the Packers for the first time since '91 is fun but I'd prefer to be in the hunt. We need a head coach that can keep this team motivated and playing their best week after week.

A good send off for Caldwell. Time to look to the future.

Lions fans, would you consider lending your quarterback to the Jets next year? That two-point conversion was one of the slickest football plays I've seen all year. Or maybe Stafford should just go to Hollywood...that man can act!

Jim Caldwell has been sacked along with OL coach Ron Prince. The search for a new coach begins. Matt Patricia, Mike Vrable and Steve Wilks are the known coaches to have already been contacted. Fans online are impressed with George Edwards and the incredible work he's down with their defense.

Sunday's win over Green Bay secured the 20th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
