Cardinal fans earned their complaint badges this week vs. the Giants.

Terrible call by the refs.

But, I always say, ifya don't make all those penalties, and ya catch the catchable balls, then ya don't have to worry about the refs.

Good win. Detroit is decent but #3 in the power rankings? That would take a whole jug of koolaid.

Their opponents are a combined 5-10 and the bears opponents are 10-6. Monday nights game should be an interesting yardstick.

I can definitely see Detroit starting out 8-2 or so. They don't have anyone tougher than the Bears in the first 10 games and then the last 6 games they have Green Bay twice, Sandiego and New Orleans.

I'm just saying that if they start 8-2 and finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs or whatever then we will have to hear idiots talking about them "choking" when in reality their 2nd half of the season is much much harder.

Mondays game should be exciting.

Mathguy - if Chicago was undefeated then their opponents would be 8-8.

If Detroit was 2-2 then their opponents would be 7-8. Think about it.

Eh, I think his point is ok. The Bears have lost to the Saints and the Packers, can you make a case that the Lions have beat a team that is even approaching the caliber of those two?

Nope......

We're just happy that we didn't choke like the Vikings and Cowboys did.

Not that it matters much, but the Lions did beat the Packers once last year.

That's exactly what the Lions did in 2005.

Please don't bring that one up again.......

The Lions have a lot of work to do; far from perfect other than their record.

The upcomig Bears game in Detroit is a must - win.

Sure, and I think the Lions are a good team with a great chance at the playoffs, but I'm just a little weary at some of the stuff I am reading out there (not on this board), about just how "great" they are.

Reality check:

Lions secondary is mediocre at best.

Running game is killin' the Lions......on both sides of the ball.

Special teams have been horrible. Except Mr. Hansen, of course.

Way too many penalties.

On the good side:

the Lions are 2 players away from winning the division.

My early Christmas wish is for the Thanksgiving game to have meaning.
