Don't bash me here, but I think they may have trouble with the Bears and the win against Pack last year (in their stadium) was when Aaron went out with a concussion.

Trouble with early season stats, only 4 games, depends on quality of teams you're playing and I think all teams are making adjustments due to the shortened practice time before the season started.

Our star QB & RB were out that game also.

C'mon.

Even Packer fans know it's tough to win on the road vs. the Cowboys and Vikings.

Way too many penalties.

On the good side:

the Lions are 2 players away from winning the division.

My early Christmas wish is for the Thanksgiving game to have meaning.
Unless one of those players is Aaron Rodgers I probably disagree.

I wasn't even going there.

I was thinking about Mikel Leshore who's out for the season and a Lem Barney kinda player in the defensive backfield.

Neither gonna happen this year.

Mistakes are part of the game. A good team will capitalize on said mistakes. If the Patriots or Packers had come from behind it would not be about Cowboy mistakes but said teams stepping up. But if it's Detroit it must be luck or "brutal mistakes from the Cowboys".

We deserve it, Bondurant. All those years of futility.....

If we beat the Bears this week, they'll just say that we had home field advantage.

Doesn't matter.

I'm enjoying 4-0.........

Since you are rarely in this position let me let you in on a little secret known to the Packers and Bears fans over the last 20 years or so. You live in fly-over country. You are not going to be the ESPN darling like the pats and other coast teams and in generaly you will be overlooked and underated.

In fact, many of us have a soft spot for the Lions given their struggles over the years....when they aren't playing my Bears I will root for them. At least your fans are real and not fair-weather bandwagoners like some teams.

Enjoy your 4-0, the end of your season will be pretty vicious and in the NFL you have to take your wins wherever you can get them.

With that said, I think detroit and the bears are currently comparable teams in terms of strength....but neither is close to the Packers yet.

It's not crazy that Detroit could start the season 9-1, 8-2 etc. just looking at the schedule. They have maybe 3 challenging games in the next 6 and then it gets rougher.
