For a so-so starter at LT that is a bargain. With the market the way it is, the Left Tackle premimum can call for about at least $6 mill a year for even mediocre Tackles.

Analysts over at the NFL gave the Lions a B in the draft. I don't know much about any of the players drafted and question drafting a WR in the 2nd. My faith in this team is stronger than ever now and I will wait and see and assume Schwartz and Company know what they are doing here. Thoughts?

As a Sooners and Vikings fan, I am mad that 3 Sooners went to a division rival! Might as well change their name to the Detroit Sooners! I wish them well but not against the Vikings! Looking forward to Vikings-Lions games this season!

Lions WR Titus Young barred from practice after starting fight with teammate

If things like this keep happening, I'm going to start believing all the people who tell me that football is a violent game. When the Detroit Lions took the field for their OTAs on Monday, receiver Titus Young was conspicuous by his absence. Turned out that Young, the second-year player taken in the second round out of Boise State, had a "confrontation" with veteran safety Louis Delmas during last week's voluntary workouts. What kind of "confrontation"? According to Anwar Richardson of MLive.com, Young punched Delmas when the safety wasn't looking after the two players got into a little barking.
After that fracas, the Lions punished Young by barring him from OTAs and minicamps until further notice. Delmas was on hand Monday and practiced, which tells you who the coaches are most likely blaming in this case.

Nick Fairley arrested again for DUI, I think the best thing is for the Lions to do is to release him, he is not worth the trouble and I have always said that Nick is going to be a bust when he got drafted and it looks like I am going to be right

Some people can't give up stupid no matter how much incentive there is.

Not to worry, Lions' fans.....

When? We've been hearing the same old tired lines since the days of Scott Mitchell. Schwartz and crew need to aggressively pursue quality defensive players. Making the Playoffs was nice, but now we are expecting to win post season games as well.

This is a systemic problem in Detriot it seems. The head coach is an emotional basket case, Suh is just as bad on the field and Fairley speaks for himself with his actions. Zero maturity!
