Yea, Alphonso Smith had a pretty rough day yesterday.
They did look good up until midway thru the 3rd quarter.

I agree. Some sort of rotation system would be best. The Lions have now lost 7 consecutive Thanksgiving day games by an average of 23 points. They've gotten to be a real bore. I'd like to see some competitive football at that time..Similar to the Cowboys/Saints game.

It's an incredibly short week.

You got yer rotating game on Thanksgiving night anyway.

I know lots of people who purposely SKIP the Lions game every Thankgiving because they always expect them to lose

I've lived near Chicago and Scranton and all football fans I knew watched the game. My buddy in Jersey watches every year to. None of them are Lions fans.

I wouldn't be opposed to adding 2 more games; one more for each time slot. Maybe have the BIG ONE on Thursday night. But that's pretty much unknown when the NFL schedules the games.

Sometimes.....the Lions' fans don't provide a sellout on Thanksgiving Day. Motown gets no football on TV during that time.

Anyhoo......

....I don't think Pat fans were complainin' yesterday.

Did you even watch the game yesterday? Far from boring, at least during the first half. They just can't finish the games.

They're on the right track. Maybe everything will finally fall in place next season.

And I know lots of people who watch the Lions game every year, so whats your point? Detroit started the tradition. Let's not take it away from them, especially since they finally seem to be turning around.

Yesterday's game was painful to watch. I'm from MI, so of course I root for the Lions (as well as the Vikings). Man, the Lions are sad this year. I wasn't expecting the playoffs, but 2-9? I know Stafford's been injured so that has a role to play, but still. This should be an 8-8 or 7-9 team.
