Jumping the gun? Folks in the Detroit press are starting to compare Best to Sanders. I hope this kid has a bright future but I'm still going to say it's only 2 games.

Best will be rookie of the year if he stays healthy.

He is THAT good.

Suh will get it if Best misses some games.

Hill is a capable QB, but he's no Stafford. We need Stafford to be healthy.

Calvin Johnson needs the ball more. Without that happening, we're gonna lose.

I like Pettigrew's play at tight end. He's certainly coming along......Sheffler is a good blocker, and quite capable, especially in the 2 tight end set. I'd like to see the Lions do more of that.

Big weak spot is the defensive secondary.....duh.....

Gonna be hard this year to win any games in our division. The trip to Minnie on Sunday looks scary.

Have the Lions ever beat Favre?

Look for the Lions to make the playoffs in 2012.

Lions need to follow the Texans' template and get Johnson the ball about 12-15 times a game.

He's a stud when he has the ball.

Another letdown. They've been showing signs of life but also signs of Millen era Lions. I was honestly thinking 7 or 8 wins before the season started. It's going to be another long season. Looking at the rest of the schedule....maybe 4 or 5 victories.

Didn't Best have concussion issues in college?

Wow. That has to be the best Lions game since '96 when Barry & Co. shredded Jacksonville 44-0.

Wish I got to see it. Good for them.

I know it was just the lackluster Rams but it was still a relief. Whenever the Lions light up the scoreboard they always give up just as many. I was actually at that game in '95. I was 14 and had a blast. Watched todays game at a bar in AZ and it was the best feeling I've had watching the Lions since that game 14 years ago.

Next weekend @NYG is going to be huge.

That's great. Living in New Jersey, I'm sure I'll catch some flack rooting for the Lions.
