I've always been proud, though, not always easy being a Lions fan. Those of us that are True Honolulu Blue are now being rewarded for enduring the last decade. Cheers to this team and cheers to us!

Megatron is a beast, yes. Detroit looks good, yes. Lions fans have every reason to be excited. But they needed some pretty brutal mistakes from the Cowboys to win today. 4-0 is nice, and they will be probably as high as #3 in some websites power rankings, but I am not sold on this as a top 5 team in the NFL. I think the Bears might actually pose some problems for them next week, so if they get to 5-0 I'll be much more impressed.

The only problem the Bears pose are cheating refs who take touchdowns away...

I'm not really sure what that has to do with this upcoming game. But to review what happened for the 1000th time, the refs, who are not known to be bribed or on the bears side in any sense of reality, were enforcing the rule as it was written. A poorly written rule, which didnt pass the smell test to the viewers at home, but a rule all the same.

But, if you want to accuse NFL refs of fixing games and being bribed, and use that to evaluate a game in a different season, have at it.

now you remember, mission accomplished.

It just got really old last year, and it was a tired debate, but I suppose since I was at the nexus of it, perhaps my view is jaded.

Wow.

Even though the Lions played poorly in the first half of the last 2 games, I gotta tell ya that our Honolulu Blue Boys showed some mettle and hung in there to win.

Lucky?

Yep.

One thing I gotta point out though:

The Vikes and Boys were dominating the Lions in every aspect.....2nd half comes up.....they change their game plan.

And lose.

Take note that vs. the Chiefs, the Lions never let up.

The Lions finally found a coaching staff.
