What I saw tonight was the NY Giants physically beating up on NE.
NY forced NE to play a physical game and NE did not adjust to it until the next to last drive.
NY physically beat them in every aspect of the game. Did anyone notice when NY players tackled they hit like I have not seen many teams ever do.
The last team I noticed that hit like that was the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 70's.
NE should not feel bad, come on 18 wins in a row is still amazing.
By the way, that 1972 Dolphins team was a fav team then and I have followed them ever since even the last couple years when most everyone else bailed, I still wear my Dolphins hat.
Congratulations to South Florida Giants fans (there are a lot of them). Winning in the deep freeze in Green Bay, then spoiling the Patriots' unbeaten season -- that's the mark of a true champion.
From the '72 Dolphins standpoint, I feel especially good for Coach Shula. As South Florida has grown and evolved, experiencing good times and bad, he has remained one of the few constants -- always the epitome of class.
Thank you NY Giants! For giving us a great Super bowl and preserving the best record in all of sports....perfection - which still belongs to the Miami Dolphins! Pop your champagne Coach Shula!
I've been a Dolfan my whole life, what they did in 1972 was great and still has not been duplicated. Anyone who is 35ish or younger have not seen the Dolphins win a Title and that is pathetic!!! I for one will always be a Dolfan but am getting a little desperate to see the Dolphins win it. Personally, I think the Patriots would have swept the floor with the undefeated Dolphins. So could the Dophins/Dolfans who do not think so please look at the record of their opponents that year. Below .500. The Patriots this year had one of the hardest schedules ever! Lets just say they had a lot of luck that year.
Oh and please lets change that Dolphins song!! Its a little bit embarrassing.

Who's arguing that he '72 fins could beat the Patriots? The fact of the matter is that the Miami Dolphins are the only NFL to be perfect. And the Patsies played in the AFC LEAST and that's where they got most of their wins. 6 wins against the Dolphins, Bills, and Jets. A joke of a division...how is that one of the hardest schedules ever? Don't pretend to be a dolphin fan when you're not!
As a life long Patriots fan and true New Englander, we were out coached and out played. Simple.
I'm pretty disapointed and quite embarrassed that Brady and Moss are now stating that they are both too injured to play in the pro-bowl. They're now acting like big babies. Lame, very lame.
Take a deep breath 305guy!!! There are 10 more games they played against tough opponents. If you listen to sports radio "most" of the 72 Dolphins think they could have beat the "Patsies". Have you seen what an embarrassment Mercury Morris has become? Population of Perfectville: 1.. Please what a joke!!
I am not a pretend Dolfan. If I was pretend would I continually purchase season tix to a team I was not a fan of??
