The Lions don't fit on this list because they did not have high expectations like the Cowboys and Vikings did.

I would give a slight edge to the Vikings. Childress is not respected even by his own players. They threw a 3rd round pick away for Moss for 3 ineffective games. S Rice goes down. Brett Favre's drama. That is a mess.

The Cowboys are a victim of being terribly overrated.

Go anybody but the Cowboys or Vikings.

Poor Lions. They don't deserve to be on the same list as the other two teams.
They at least have an excuse.
I agree...I hadn't even thought of the Lions, and Detroit is like the Ford Pinto of the NFL.

Have two teams with losing records ever gotten as much publicity halfway through the season as the Cowboys and Vikings have?

It's time to focus on teams that are relevant.

The Dallas Cowboys.

After all that money Jerry Jones on that new stadium you would think the Cowboys should be winning right now.

Oh, and Cowboys fans, yeah ya'll Cowboys beat my Saints last Regular Season but let me tell you Cowboys fans somethin', the Cowboys played a WORN DOWN SAINTS TEAM LAST REGULAR SEASON(2009). Especially when the Saints almost lost to the Redskins and Falcons leading to the Saints vs Cowboys game.

If the Cowboys played the Saints in the middle of the Season it would have been different.

Ok.. here's where i break it down analytically. Athletically they BOTH are playing like crap. The Cowboys in recent years have always found a knack for blowing up. That's what happens when you got Romo and the helm. However. The Vikings they are crapping their pants partially cuz they have a grandfather as their QB. Yes Favre is a Hall of Fame QB; but the dude needs to retire. His time has come and the speculations of Favre outside the NFL with those text messages and with Moss. It's a soap opera and the Media totally loves to make a big deal about stuff like that. Off topic but look at Michael Jackson's death, look at Tiger Woods. They wouldn't SHUT THE F*CK UP bout it. That's happening here. So all in all. Cowboys are falling apart. They've become the Bills of the NFC. Yes i am a Bills fan and i said that. However Bills are showing improvement. Vikings. They got a soap opera going on and i believe with Favre retiring next year. The media can finally leave them alone.

Cowboys: totally heartless, mediocre offensive line, average running backs, bad corner backs (what happened to Jenkins), bad coaching, and, above all else, an owner who's determined to undermine any effective coach he may bring in.

It's a tough call to make, but I have to give it to the Cowboys. This is assuming the Vikings are at least still trying when they play. I don't get to watch them that much.

We are number 1 at something!!!

I think they need to revamp the coaching and find a new quarterback. That team needs solid leadership all around, and they clearly don't have it.
