Thinking Globally are we?? Impressive. Is Soccer just Soccer or is it a major global sport? If you say "Its just Soccer" Im cool with that.

I love to watch Vick play, always have. I am glad he is doing well, he got a second chance and it looks like he's making the best of it. I hope those Dirty Birds stomp him if it comes down to it though.

I agree. It's great to see him take advantage of his second chance.

Short memories are dangerous. This is a despicable human being. Granted, he paid his debt to society, but it sickens me that young people are offered filth like this as role models. He has athletic talent? BFD. There was a time when more was demanded of our sports heroes; but I suppose that time has passed.

I don't think we should be encouraging our children to think Football players are heroes in the first place.
Also, filth and despicable human being are a bit strong IMO, this coming from someone with 3 rescue dogs, 2 of them bullies.

I feel the same about George W. Bush.

Replace "athletic talent" with "political genius" and replace "sports heroes" with "Presidents" and our sentiments are remarkably similar, just with different targets of outrage.

You are comparing GWB with MV? My God, we do live in a sick society.
