This was brewing for a long time. Finnegan is disliked among the NFL and has a history with the NFL brass through fines and statements. I thought it was good that he got put in his place and was embarassed.

Who should be suspended?

Both? One of them? None?

Finnegan got his rearend handed to him by Johnson!! It was about time and I'm glad somebody put him in his place! He should be fined and suspended, Johnson should just be fined. Johnson is a nice guy with a clean reputation unlike Finnegan....

I thought about activating the Titan team thread to post on this as it has been dormant for this season, sadly. I'm good with this thread.

Johnson will get fined. Should not be suspended.

Cortland Finnegan. Too bad Johnson didn't knock him completely out. I have no use for players like him. I've looked at the replays up till midnight on ESPN and the NFL Channel. What cracks me up is as the fight broke up Finnegan has the cameras on him and he is trotting like a third grader with a goofy smile on his face while he is nodding his head up and down for several seconds. Duh.

DRob4JC is right. Over the last couple seasons Finnegan has made a practice out of this. He done exactly the same thing to Bronco offensive tackle Ryan Harris earlier this season. Only one problem with that though. It actually fired up the Bronco squad and a club who is 3-8 wound up thumping the Titans in the end. Duh.

Johnson uppercutted the bejesus out of Finnegan and this dolt curled up like a turtle. Duh.

When the cameras focused on the referee announcing both players being ejected it's too bad Finnegan already had his helmet on and was walking off the field. I wonder what the look on his face would be as he's walking off the field knowing he not only got punked in front of 70,000 plus fans plus the regional tv audience but got run for his feeble efforts. Duh!

Goodell! Don't pull a duh here. Sit this guy for a couple games, maybe three games.

Houston 20, Tennessee 0. Duh!

Duh!

Finnegan just prior to the snap to the Texans sideline: "Watch this."

They should just allow boys to be boys like they do in the NHL. Finnegan is a punk. He got lucky because he was in a controlled environment. Had this been a street fight, he would have ended up in the hospital.

I cant remember the last time I saw a brawl taken to that level during an NFL game. I loved every bit of it. Sadly, the commish probably doesn't feel the same way. At least the Texans front office stood up for their player. They even gave him the game ball.

Apparently the NFL Network had Johnson mic'ed up for this game from what I am hearing. If so, I wonder if it will air on Sonud EFX? They could advertise and play the sound during the whole back and forth w/ Finnegan and it would be their top rated show for the week.

Finnegan got his butt kicked by Johnson and he is lucky that the ref broke that up because AJ was bringing it.

I hope Finnegan gets suspended and AJ doesn't, although he will be fined. Finnegan is a punk and was put in his place.

I'm watching ESPN and Chris Mortenson is announcing that the NFL has decided both Finnegan and Johnson will be fined $25,000 each, but there will not be any suspensions regarding this issue.
