I'm not arguing and I do know the facts, thanks. I've had this argument probably hundreds of times of various message boards in the aftermath of the Snow Job game and I honestly don't care to have it again. I was simply responding to the original post of this thread. You may feel one way about the game, I may feel another. I'm not going to convince you otherwise and you certainly won't convince me so there's no reason to get into utterly pointless debate. Thanks for your response though.
So your saying you dont like the rule or that the rule was not applied correctly???
What I'm saying is pretty much what I said; that I've had that discussion/debate/argument countless times and I don't care to delve into it again. The only reason that I mentioned that game is because it was germane to the OP's question. As I said before, you can feel one way, I may feel a different way. Neither of us is going to change the other's position and I'm perfectly fine with that. The game is in the past, and other than answering a question, I'm content to leave it there.
I can't decide between The Drive, The Fumble, or Red Right 88. Probably The Drive -- to this day, I throw stuff at the TV if I see John Elway's ugly mug.

I watched that game as a 11 year old but the game the next year-"the Fumble" is what made me feel bad for Cleveland
1. '98 AFC Championship game at Denver.....10-0 up at the half.....even though our offense was shaky (turnovers) we were controlling the game....even our favorite drunk (Joe Namath) was all giddy at the half....then the 3rd quarter came and the winds picked up.....very disgusted after that....
2. '00 playoffs at the Ravens....Al Groh was our coach...we took a quick 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter...stunned the baltimore faithful, but the tide turned as the game went on.

Since when is a game out of reach when a team is leading 10-0 at the half?-lol
Most painful is Dallas beating my Steelers because Neil O'Donnell forgot which jerseys were ours and made Larry Brown a millionaire overnight. Most painful to watch but not personal was watching Theismann getting crushed by LT !!!

It's easier to hate John Elway than it is to hate Earnest Byner (who had a great game, minus the fumble -- without him, the Browns would have lost by double digits).

i hope you are joking....
we were up 10-0, the broncos scored 23 unanswered points in 2nd half
