I hope McNabb goes elsewhere next year and lights up the NFL. The Eagles really added insult to injury when they traded him to the NFL's most dysfunctional team. I think #5 would be a good fit in Arizona.

Sonny Jergenson has even said that Grossman could be the future of the skins. Shannanhan has said that he has seen how Grossman performs in practice and that Grossman works harder than Mcnabb. Also Shannahan said that he has seen Grossman do some great things in practice (something we all don't see obviously). If Grossman plays well for the rest of the year it is safe to say he will in fact be the Skins strarting qb in 2011.

What are your thoughts on Grossman as the skins future starting qb?
Rex Grossman has never convinced me he can be a top flight NFL quarterback. The Redskins would be well served to from purely a business standpoint to dump McNabb and let Grossman play until they can draft a franchise level quarterback.

Exactly!

He went from Chicago, to Houston, to Washington for a reason.

So you are willing to put your team in the hands of the guy that doesn't necessarily have what I'd call upper level NFL quarterback talent based on what you saw about 20 years ago?

Rypein had a big time arm, Grossman not so much. I can't say I share your confidence.

Actually I think he trains in Phoenix in the off-season. So it might be a good fit for him. Plus the Cardinals definitely could use a quarterback.

His team made it to the Super Bowl. He just rode the wave and then he cost his team the game...fumble.

While you and I strongly disagree on the Michael Vick situation, I couldn't agree with you more about #5. I hope he goes to a team like the Cards or the Vikes and tears it up!

Bonus points to the Skins for letting Sexy Rexy continue the failure known as the Snyder years!!! Little Danny boy can write a book about how to kill a once revered franchise in just a few short years!

Correction, the Bears made it to the Super Bowl by having a great defense a strong running game and by NOT putting Grossman in positions where he had to win games with his arm. The next year they got rid of Thomas Jones and when Cedric Benson wasn't up to snuff Grossman got EXPOSED.

As an Eagles fan, I think it is an excellent idea.
