In your opinion,who was the best football player at their position of all times .Who was the best quarterback,fullback,running back,linebacker etc.? Starting from the 1940's to present day, who was the best player of their era and culminate them with the best players of all times.
Always a great debate in the game of football, because there are so many variables: era, supporting cast, rule changes, and even different criteria that can change who you would choose at a single position.
QB: Best all-round would go to Joe Montana. If I had just had to select an arm, it would be Marino's
RB: Best all-round would go to Walter Payton. If you were asking me who the best RUNNER is, then I go with Barry Sanders.
