Yes, power rankings are meaningless, but they are fun to talk about. ESPN released the pre season power rankings today:

1- Packers
2 - Pats
3 -Iggles
4 -Saints
5 -Steelers
6 - Falcons
7 - J E T S
8 - Colts
9 - Ravens
10 - Chargers
11 - G-men
12 - Bucs
13 - Da Bears
14 - Chiefs
15 - Rams
16 - Cowboys
17 - Texans
18 - Lions
19 - Seahawks
20 - Titans
21 - Cardinals
22 - Jags
23 - Raiders
24 - Fins
25 - Vikings
26 - 9ers
27 - Broncos
28 - Browns
29 - Skins
30 - Panthers
31 - Bills
32 - Bengals

I think the Saints and Bucs are too high. Bears are too low.

What do you guys think of the list?

And my Bills are #2!

Saints are definitely too high IMO. I'm thinking 8 or 9 range for them. I kind of like where the Bucs are but they are definitely going to have to prove it by winning their first game against a "winning team". They went 10-6 last year with all 10 wins coming against teams with losing records. My Bills may have been able to go 9-7 with the schedule they had. I do think they take another step forward this year though so I like the ranking. But they don't have any room for error.

Well, the East is the JETS division to lose and my FiNZ are a long long shot, down the wrong road. I hope the Hatriots don't win, I hate them so much. But football would not be iteresting if we didn't all have one team we absolutely hate.......

Unfortunately, your Bills have the worse coach in the history of the modern game (other than Cam Cameron)
More like 4-12 with his direction. Which is just under where my FINZ wil finish at 6-10

Interesting list and of course, I'm happy! I think the Bears should be higher. Saints, not so sure, can't wait for the season opener Pack/Saints!

ESPN, plus rest of the media will be talking about how the Pack didn't get together and Drew Brees organized all these workouts!

Actually, as a Bills fan that would be Dick Jauron and it's not even close. Chan can lead the Bills to an 0-16 year next season and I would still dislike Jauron more. There is a reason why us Bills fans pooled money together to purchase a billboard in buffalo wishing for his removal from the team.

and my Raiders have the worst owner of all time

for the 1st time in nearly a decade the Raiders weren't horrible going 8-8 in 2010

so what does Al Davis do:

fire the coach, scrap the zone blocking sceme, that was behind the Raiders dominant running game.

let Nnamdi Asomugha walk, granted he was a free agent and who could blame him for not wanting to resign with the Raiders when he had a chance to play for a winner.

I know what happened last January, but the Patriots are the best team in the division. Belichick isn't going to let himself be out-coached again, and of the Patriots and Jets, the Pats are the legit Super Bowl threat.
