That is GREAT NEWS!!!!. Usually when the First World series game falls on a Sunday, the NFL doesn't have a Sunday Night game that evening because of the WS. Not the case this week, Game 4 of the World Series is on Fox at 7:30pm and The Colts play the Saints on NBC at 8pm.

I been waiting for this to happen for years.

They dominate baseball in the ratings now, so this should have been a no-brainer for the NFL.

I bet you the 0-6 Colts vs the Saints on NBC still get higher ratings than the WS-lol

Football gets higher ratings if its the Chiefs vs Seahawks.

Nice way of telling baseball they should go back and look at their season and have the world series end the 1st week of October like it used to. Or trim regular season by 2 weeks.

I don't think the NFL did this in the past for fear of loosing some or any of its audience as much as they did it out of respect for another Professional league. I am sure that way back in the 60s and 70s when baseball ruled the landscape of sports they had gave little thought to the NFL or any other league and the NFL is simply repaying a favor. But they need not be so short sighted because everything comes back around and in a few decades, the NFL may be looking back up at another big brother sport.

Don't think so the schedule was already set ahead of time.

You're right....because people would watch that. Rangers-Cards, not so much.

Baseball is my favorite sport, but I will probably only casually watch some of this WS. But I pretty much never watch more than 20 minutes of Sunday or Monday night football, unless the Eagles are playing.
