Yeah, a 62-7 loss really takes that to a new level, doesn't it?

There was no need to keep Brees in the entire game and run up the score. For all practical purposes the game was over after the first quarter.

Gotta pat the stats I guess -- classy or not.

I'm hard pressed to remember a pro game that got into the sixties. I remember several in the high fifty's, but DAMN!

He was pulled at the end of the third quarter.

I believe Payton said beforehand that if it got out of hand, he would not back off the pedal - in order to gain momentum, confidence going down the stretch.

I don't have a problem with it. They pulled Brees at the end of 3rd Q and kept running the ball after that... The Colts sucked and got their rear handed to them. No need to be a sore loser and blame the other team for scoring! Play better next time if you didn't like that 62 point beatdown PERIOD!

SD @ NYJ -- SD 26-13 -- NYJ 27-21 - Plax Smacks the Bolts
Chi @ TB -- TB 24-17 -- Chi 24-18 - Bucs remain a second tier team
Sea @ Cle - Cle 17-10 -- Cle 6-3 - No touchdowns, really?
Atl @ Det -- Atl 27-24 - Atl 23-16 - Lions not ready for prime time.
Hou @ Ten -- Hou 34-24 - Hou 41-7 - Did not expect that whooping.
Was @ Car -- Car 27-21 - Car 33-20 - Newton way better than expected at this point
Den @ Mia -- Mia 23-17 -- Den 18-15 - Mixed review on Tebow, defense won the game

Pit @ Az -- Pit 30-16 - Pit 32-20 - No surprises here.
KC @ Oak -- Oak 31-20 - KC 28-0 - I should have known better in regards to the Raider QB situation
GB @ Min -- GB 33-27 -- GB 33-27 - DRob Pick of the Week, Figured Ponder would surprise, Vikes would play Pack tough.
StL @ Dal -- Dal 35-17 -- Dal 34-7 - Murray, real deal or fluke? Good day for Texas teams in all sports.

Ind @ NO -- NO 33-20 - NO 62-7 - I was a little low on the over/under. Saints took care of that on their own.

Bal @ Jac -- Bal 20-10

Bye: Buf, Cin, NE, NYG, Phi, SF
8-4 pending MNF.

New QBs 1-4. Tebow - 24 yds. passing through 3 quarters is brutal, but got his act together. Amazing how much press he is getting. If this was Orton or Quinn, there wouldn't be half the interest and the story would be the Dolphin meltdown.
